This has become most apparent in contemporary kitchens, blending modern elements and details to create a more refined aesthetic. AyA Kitchens has introduced an on trend middle ground with an extremely successful hybridization of these two styles called "New Contemporary".

The New Contemporary collection fits neatly between AyA's Urban and Transitional collections. As a middle ground between slab and shaker, this collection can be dressed up to lean more to the Transitional side, or it can be paired down to create a more minimal and modern feel. Refined rails create a visual focal point with understated elegance. The collection is our most versatile, allowing a greater range to blend between styles. Whether in your kitchen, bathroom, living room or laundry room, customers now have a new spectrum of control on how modern or transitional they wish their space to be. The new collection currently offers 7 doors in a variation of rail widths with finishes from wood stains, painted and thermofoil.

This bathroom vanity features our (New Contemporary) Willis door in painted Dusk paired with a sleek Manhattan Cashew Cherry slab door. The mix is elegant while still providing nice details and contrast with the rail width and black accents. A duo-tone vanity that feels modern but includes a contemporary sensibility. The tall cabinetry also features linen print interiors exclusive to AyA's ELITE accessories line and adds a nice unexpected charm.
